Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer as well as an animal rights activist. The actress is famous for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). Her family was an artist family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in arts. She started as a photography assistant and later moved into acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in her first two movies and received Golden Globe Award for Most promising Newcomer. MacGraw's movie Love Story was an international success, earning the actress the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. With just three releases MacGraw was named the top female box-office debut worldwide. In Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she was able to have her signature and hand-footprints engraved. Some of the films she's been in are The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was divorced three times.
