Later she was introduced to an artist who went on a tour with her as a backing singer. They decided to join the cast of Vh1's popular series Hollywood. The premiere season follows the birth and pregnancy of their son Megaa Omari. In the second season, she explores the frustrations in her profession and struggles with insecurity associated with her recent success. Omarion was touring and Apryl was not able to join with him at the reunion filming. In December 7, 2015 Apryl confirmed the two had quit the show and they wouldn't be back the next season. Apryl's daughter A'mei Grandberry was born on March 7, 2016. Apryl declared her separation from Omarion just four months after. Apryl made a guest-appearance in season four and met Lil' Fizz to discuss a potential B2K reunion. Apryl is back on the series during Season 6, which focuses on her custody battles with Omarion as well as questions from the media and speculation about her relationship to Lil' Fizz. Both admit that they're romantically connected, leading Moniece as well and the entire actors into contention.
