Hayley is an American actor and singer. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". Although she's a singer but her main passion is music. Music is the first passion she maintains; it is something she's dabbled in since she was only nine years old. After she turned 12 years old, music was taken seriously enough to warrant professionally trained. In the age of 13, she began making music. Her debut album at 14 years old. From then on, she has never been back. Orrantia was raised in the USA but has Hispanic roots. Although she spoke only English throughout her childhood and never been to Mexico Orrantia feels extremely proud of her Hispanic origins. In order to preserve her heritage she's enrolled in Spanish. Also, she writes songs using the language. One of her songs was a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia appeared in The X Factor season 1's auditions in the summer of 2011. Orrantia got selected as a result of a YouTube video that she submitted and got four "yes" no votes by the jury during the live audition phase held in Seattle, Washington. Although she originally auditioned in a single performance during "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three female performers were placed into an ensemble for the remainder in the selection process. They were eliminated during the 5th week of the live program.
